Abbey Metal Fence Panels Enhance New Build Home in Manchester

Located in Manchester the owner of this smart looking new build home was looking for a modern metal fence that would create a clearly defined boundary between a front garden and neighbouring driveway.

Client Brief

With a total run of approximately 10m to cover, the property owner made contact with us asking for an initial quote for metal fence panels. As the houses have been built in the last few years they were looking for a modern design that would reflect the style of the 2 houses. The only other major requirement was to have a low maintenance finish and metal posts of the correct length to provide adequate support.

Garden Gates Direct Proposal

Having listened to the customer requirements we were happy to provide design ideas in the form of the Verona and Abbey metal fencing. Whilst both options are very similar in appearance at first glance the Verona only features 2 decorative panels whereas the Abbey has 3 decorative features per panel. Furthermore with both option available in a rust resistant zinc plated (electro galvanised) and black powder coated paint finish they also fit the bill well in terms of ease of installation and reduced maintenance requirements.  To completement the look of the railings we recommended 50mm (2”) square ball top metal posts.

Order Details

After listening to our advice the customer chose the following products.

• 5 x Abbey Metal Fence Panels (with a zinc plated and powder coated finish)

• 6 x Square Metal Posts (ball top design with a total length of 1600mm to allow for setting in concrete)

Looking at the photographs provided by the customer we can see they have made a careful design as the fence panels really enhance the front elevation of both properties whilst serving as an effective boundary between the 2 homes.
