Having been approached by a Landscape contractor who was looking to install some metal railings at a project in Enfield the team at Garden Gates Direct were happy to find out more and provide help, assistance and design ideas to allow the project to be completed to a high standard in the minimum amount of time.
Client Brief
Due to the site being located within the grounds of a hospital one of the main design requirements was that the railings should post no threat to patients in the event of an accident occurring (such as a patient falling over). Further requirements included the ability to supply the railings in a made to measure size (not all the pillars had been built equal distances apart) and the possibility of supplying the railings in a non-standard colour (the colours required were Anthracite and Burgundy.)
Garden Gates Direct Proposal
After viewing photographs and sketches provided by the client of the design and layout of the space it was initially felt that a couple of our designs would fit the bill and for this reason our initial offerings were the Manor and Court designs. After consultation the Court railings were dismissed due to the lack of made to measure sizes. As a result of this it left the Manor railings preferred design and as such we were then able to price the project up accurately for the client.
In total there were 10 railings supplied, all in made to measure sizes in a combination of Anthracite and Burgundy powder coated paint finishes.
Customer Feedback and Photographs of Project
As you can see from the pictures detailed below the landscape contractor has done a terrific job installing the railings and the overall garden design looks outstanding. This was a very satisfying project to work on and both the team at Garden Gates Direct and the client were are really pleased with the end results.
