How to Fit Your Metal Gates

Please make sure the structure you are hanging the gate off can support the additional weight before you start the installation. If you have any concerns about the integrity of the structure, we advise you to either engage a builder to inspect it or, as an alternative, add metal posts.

The data in the images below should only be used as a general point of reference. Many of our items have hinge, latch, and bracket designs that differ from those depicted (some are a fixed type, and others are adjustable). Additionally, a lot of our metal posts have universal designs. Thus they must have the fixings attached to them when installing the products (screws are not provided). Consequently, only use the installation instructions that come with the product when it is delivered while installing the purchased goods.

Depending on your selected style, your gate may have one of two hinge configurations. Each gate design's specific hinge type is described in the product description.
