Physical Height: This measurement is made from the top of the arch to the bottom of the framework. We have not included any ground clearance requirements you may need.
Example Ordering Size
If the width of your aperture/gap size is 991mm, you will need to order a gate that will "fit an opening of 991mm".
Will Metal Posts Be Required?
If you locate the gate in a position without a suitable support structure, you must install metal posts. If this applies to your installation, please remember additional space will be required.

Important Information about the Classic Low Bow Wrought Iron Style Metal Garden Gate
Fittings: This product includes the hinge and latch components as standard. We do not provide the screws/fixings you will need to use to securely attach these components to your chosen support structure (i.e. brickwork or posts).
Metal Posts: You must ensure your posts are the proper size and type. These components should be buried into the ground and stabilised with concrete.
Installation: You must correctly install the gate according to the instructions provided with the product. Before starting the installation, we recommend that you ensure that the structure you are attaching the fittings into can provide adequate support.
Width: The "fits opening" dimensions denote the size of the aperture/gap you will need for the gate to fit. Included in these dimensions is the space necessary for the hinges and latch. It does not in any way relate to the physical width of the gate. If you unsure what this means, please read thoroughly and understand our comprehensive guide explaining how to choose the proper size.
