The Royale Talisman Wrought Iron Style Driveway Gates are manufactured from heavy-duty solid steel components to ensure optimum levels of strength, rigidity and reliability are provided at all times. They feature 40mm x 30mm flat bar steel hanging stiles combined with 40mm x 20mm closing stiles. The framework also includes 40mm x 10mm cross-rails for additional strength. Their appearance is enhanced using a double row of fleur-de-lys finials and circular scrolls. These highly imposing double metal driveway gates represent exceptional value for money and are perfect for various locations.

Ordering Sizes

• Width (Fits Opening): You should select the width required using the drop-down menu at the top of the page. Please note that the sizes listed are the actual opening you will need between brickwork or existing posts. Within this measurement, we have already included the space required for the hinges and latch, so no further allowances need to be made for these items. For total clarity, if the existing gap between brickwork is 2743mm, you should order the gates to "fit an opening of 2743mm".

• Height (once installed): This measurement is from ground level to the top of the horizontal rail. We have incorporated an allowance of 50mm (2") for ground clearance within this measurement. 

Are Metal Posts Required?

If you need to order metal posts, you must understand that additional space will be necessary.

Example: The Royale Talisman double gates that have been designed to "fit an opening" of 2743mm combined with 2 x 150mm posts will need a total overall space of 3043mm.

Useful Information About the Royale Talisman Metal Driveway Gates

Fittings: Royale Talisman double driveway gates incorporate a fitting pack, including adjustable hinges, latch, and an in-ground drop bolt. We do not include the fixings you will need to use to fasten the hinge brackets to brickwork or existing posts.

Posts: If no brickwork or other masonry structure is present, you will need to install metal posts. You should set these items into the ground with concrete.

Installation: You should only hang the gates off existing brickwork if it can take the additional weight. Please refer to the installation guide for further information.

Width: As already detailed above within the "ordering sizes" section, these measurements refer to the size of the opening you will need. They do not relate to the physical width of the gates. For further clarification, please click here.

Painting: When purchasing the Royale Talisman 4ft high wrought iron style driveway gates with the primed black undercoat, please be aware that you must paint all exposed metal surfaces with rust-resistant paint before installation. Alternatively, we can offer low maintenance zinc plated (electro galvanised) and black powder-coated paint finish for an additional charge.
