The height is calculated by measuring the distance between the top and bottom of the vertical rails. The extra space necessary for the hinges, locking mechanism, and ground clearance has yet to be taken into consideration.

Height Dimensions

The wall or posts on which you mount the hinges must be at least 100mm taller than the physical height of the gates. This gives enough room for the fittings to be installed at the top and bottom.
