When making your choice please be aware that the sizes stated are the physical width of a pair of Drayton Estate Gates placed side by side. Useful Information About Drayton Double Wooden Gates

Width Dimensions: The dimensions shown in the drop-down menu at the top of the page are the total physical width of both gates when placed side by side. To avoid any confusion when placing your order this means that each pair comprises of the following:

• 2400mm pair = 2 x 1200mm

• 2700mm pair = 2 x 1350mm

• 3000mm pair = 2 x 1500mm

• 3300mm pair = 2 x 1650mm

• 3600mm pair = 2 x 1800mm

Height Dimensions: This is measured from the bottom of the gates to the highest point. The space you will need for ground clearance has not been allowed for in this measurement. When installing, we normally recommend allowing a gap of 50mm (2”) however this will vary depending on your driveway layout.

Fittings: To add the appropriate fitting pack to your order please select the required hinges, latch and drop bolt from the options and accessories menu.

Posts: When installing, we always recommend the use of wooden posts. They can be wall mounted (if fitting between an existing masonry structure) or can be set into the ground in concrete. In both instances, the opening formed between the posts should be 40mm wider than the gates you order as this will provide the optimal spacing required for the hinges.

Finish: The Drayton design is manufactured from a low maintenance smooth planed pressure treated softwood. Please note that the treatment process will mean the timber has a green tint to it upon delivery. This is normal and will weather down over time.

Installation: To ensure the proper level of support, we only recommend hook and band hinges. These should be mounted to the top and bottom horizontal rails. For additional information refer to the general installation guide.
