• Manufactured using 25mm x 10mm metal frames, 12mm infill bars and 10mm x 3mm scrollwork.

• Supplied with adjustable hinges, latch and drop bolt.

Ordering Sizes

• Width (Fits Opening): This is the opening size you will need for the gates to fit. The measurement includes the space required for the hinges and latch. You do not make any further allowances for these items. To avoid any confusion, if your opening is 8ft, you should order gates to "fit opening 8ft".

• Physical Height: This is measured from the underside of the frame to the highest point. We have not included an allowance for any ground clearance necessary when installing. 

Do You Require Metal Posts? 

When no suitable support structure is in place to attach the hinge brackets, you need to use metal posts. When selecting these items, please note that you will require additional space.

Example: Stirling double gates that "fit an opening" of 2438mm combined with 2 x 70mm posts will take up a total overall space of 2578mm.

Useful Information About the Stirling Wrought Iron Style Metal Driveway Gates

Fittings: We supply the surface-mounted hinges, latch and in-ground drop bolt with all double gates. The screws you will need to mount the hinge brackets will not be included.

Posts: When using metal posts, these must be the correct size and type to provide adequate support. They must be set into the ground to the appropriate depth and be supported using concrete.

Installation: The hinges should only be attached to existing brickwork (or other support), provided it can safely take the weight of the gates. For more information, please take a look at the installation guide.

Width: The width dimensions shown in the menu are the opening size required. They do not refer to the physical width of the gates. If you are unsure what this means, please refer to the "Ordering Sizes" section above or click here for further clarification.

Painting: Stirling driveway gates are supplied zinc plated (electro galvanised) and powder-coated black.
